The St. John United Methodist Church in Avon is receiving a delivery of free USDA food boxes on Monday, November 16, which will be available to the public at no cost on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Per Pastor Gina Miller, the estimated time of arrival will be around 4:00 p.m., however, the time could fluctuate by 30 minutes before or after the scheduled delivery.
The boxes feature an assortment of produce, meat, and dairy products, and folks who are unable to pick one up can also make arrangements with friends or neighbors to acquire a box.
