
The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce will host a State of Education Breakfast program on Tuesday, April 15, at 8 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk. This event will feature a panel of school leaders including Dr. Steve Basnight, Superintendent – Dare County Schools; Dr. Matt Lutz, Superintendent – Currituck County Schools; Dr. Melanie Shaver, Superintendent – Hyde County Schools; Dr. Riede Corbette, Executive Director – ECU Coastal Studies Institute; and Dr. Jack Bagwell, President – College of the Albemarle.
Each of our panelists will present a brief presentation followed by an open Q&A.
