In an effort to create a social distancing-friendly activity for young islanders, Hatters Island hosted its first-ever “Car Safari” this past weekend, which encouraged residents to place stuffed animals in areas of their homes that were easily visible from the road.
From Rodanthe to Hatteras village, the island responded with gusto, and Administrative Coordinator at the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, Josh Nonnenmocher, compiled images and videos from the island-wide safari to create a lovely video collage of the celebration.
