Ocracoke Island Waterfowl Festival will be held April 15
The 5th Annual Ocracoke Island Waterfowl Festival will be held on Saturday, April 15, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Berkley Manor Barn and grounds in Ocracoke Village.
Presented by the non-profit Ocracoke Island Decoy Carvers Guild, this annual event draws decoy carvers and collectors in celebration of a time-honored art.
The event will feature decoy carvings of redheads, ruddy ducks, sprigtail, blue bills, ringnecks, swans, geese, shorebirds, and more, along with artwork and artifacts related to North Carolina’s rich waterfowl tradition. Attendees can also enjoy a bake sale, kids’ activities, and much more during the full day of festivities.
