Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Civic Association to host free Plant Swap at Earth Day celebration
As part of its Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 22, the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo (RWS) Civic Association will also host a free “Plant Swap.”
The event will be held rain or shine
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the RWS Community Building, (across from the Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station in Rodanthe), there be space for community members to share and “swap” flowers, seeds, bulbs, or other items.
Have too many “plant babies” and want to share? Looking to try something new but can’t commit to the nursery price? Bought a six-pack of tomatoes but only need four? Here’s the place to meet up with others and share the bounty.
Whether seed packs, bulbs, indoor plants, flowers, shrubs, or baby trees, all plants are welcome.
Don’t have any plants to share but curious to try? Why not check it out? The only request is to leave plenty of goodies for others to share and share alike.
