NPS Selects Firm to Run Oregon Inlet Marina
The National Park Service (NPS) announces the selection of Oregon Inlet Marinas, LLC to begin negotiating a lease for Oregon Inlet Marina in accordance with the Request for Proposals (RFP), which was issued on June 7, 2018, and closed on September 5, 2018.
The NPS received multiple proposals in response to the RFP and selected Oregon Inlet Marinas, LLC, managed by Russell C. King, as the best responsive proposal in accordance with the selection criteria published in the RFP.
Through the RFP process, the lease opportunity for Oregon Inlet Marina was open to all interested persons on a competitive basis. The proposal judged best under the proposal selection criteria has been given an opportunity to negotiate a final lease agreeable to both the selected applicant and the NPS. The proposals were evaluated by an independent panel of National Park Service experts in commercial services from parks and offices outside of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The selection was made by the National Park Service Southeast Regional Director.
In accordance with the RFP, the lessee will be authorized the use the marina premises for the following purposes:
The NPS anticipates commencing a lease for Oregon Inlet Marina by the end of calendar year 2018.
