The Oregon Inlet and Ocracoke campgrounds will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, due to expected severe weather conditions on Sunday and Monday, December 17-18.

Visitor facilities may have a delayed opening Monday, December 18, as well. For weather-related operational status updates for Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, and Wright Brothers National Memorial, visit http://go.nps.gov/obxstorms.
