Dare County Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 23

Due to inclement weather, all Dare County Schools (DCS) will be closed on Thursday, January 23, for both students and staff, with no remote instruction.

“We are closely monitoring weather and road conditions and will provide updates regarding the school schedule for Friday as soon as possible,” stated DCS in a Wednesday afternoon update. “We hope you stay safe and enjoy the snow day!”
