Trash Collection Schedule Updated for Hatteras Island
Per a Monday morning update from Dare County Public Works, residential trash collection took place in Hatteras, Frisco, and Buxton this morning, Tuesday, November 19. There were a few oceanfront areas in Buxton that were not completed due to sand and water on the roads.
Commercial collection took place throughout Hatteras Island today with the exception of some areas in Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo.
If road conditions permit, residential trash collection will take place in Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.
