Learn About Property Insurance at a Community Forum on November 2

nty invites you to attend a “Community Conversation on Property Insurance” on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 6 pm that will take place at the Dare County Commissioners Meeting Room located at 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo, NC.
The forum will feature two special guests: Ms. Gina Hardy, CEO of the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association (NCIUA), and Ms. Joanne Biliouris, General Manager of the North Carolina Rate Bureau. They will explain the “Beach Plan” and the Strengthen Your Roof grant program for fortified roofs in the coastal areas, as well as the property insurance rate making process in North Carolina.
“Property insurance is a vital part of home ownership, and we want to help property owners of the Outer Banks understand their options and opportunities. We are thrilled to have these experts join us for this informative event” said Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® President Natalie Painter.
