Due to unsafe road conditions resulting from the current offshore weather pattern, Cape Hatteras Elementary School and Cape Hatteras Secondary School will be closed on Friday, October 11, 2019, per a Friday morning update from Dare County schools. All other schools in Dare County will operate on a normal schedule.
