Christmas Tree Fundraiser in Hatteras village planned for December

Hatteras Island residents and visitors who want to pick up their annual Christmas Tree and décor while supporting a local cause can cross both items off their holiday list with a special Christmas Tree Fundraiser that will be held during the month of December in Hatteras village.

The fundraiser benefits the Hatteras Preschool, and is hosted and sponsored by The Village Market Red & White in Hatteras village. The multiple-day event features an array of fresh cut Christmas Trees, fresh wreaths and poinsettias, and a little holiday spirit, courtesy of Christmas music and twinkling lights.

All of the trees and decor are available for purchase anytime beginning on December 1, however, on the nights of December 3-4 and December 10-11, Hatteras Preschool will have a decorated Christmas tree lot with music and lights from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to get visitors into the holiday spirit.
