I’ll keep it simple: NO. RWS cannot take the restriction of the sand flow to those beaches. The existing rock “wall” already has done substantial damage to the beaches. If there is a choice between fishing and vacationers using the beaches there is no question that the sand on the beaches is vastly more important than the fishing. Dollar for dollar I doubt there is any comparison. Pumping sand, which will be done at some point, onto RWS beaches makes no sense if sand flow and natural accretion are restricted by jetties. Messing with Mother Nature never ends well.
