Life in isolation, Hatteras-style…WITH VIDEO
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, all of America has been asked to stay home and socially distance themselves. Many islanders are making the best of this downtime by engaging in a myriad of activities. The Island Free Press asked islanders to submit photos and videos of themselves spending time with family, trying new projects, excercising, and maybe even getting a little stir crazy.
This video is a compilation of those submissions, which includes drawing, gardening, kiteboarding, setting up for an island safari, excercising, just goofing off, and much more. This video shows that the Outer Banks has a special way of doing just about everything, and this time of quarantine is no different.
A special thank you to all those who submitted!
Lots of working, surfing and beach time!
