Buxton Beach Nourishment Update – February 23, 3018

Share post:

As of Wednesday, February 21, about 93% of the total sand for the project had been placed on the beach. The hopper dredge Magdalen resumed pumping on Wednesday afternoon following delays caused by rough seas and a broken wire at the connection of the float hose. The pipe has been flipped and work is currently moving towards the northern project boundary. To view the updated project map, visit http://bit.ly/BuxtonBN. The project completion date remains early to mid March.
