Dare County Schools will have remote learning day on Thursday, February 20

Dare County Schools (DCS) issued the following message on Wednesday evening, February 19, regarding school operations on Thursday.
Thursday, February 20, 2025, will be a Remote Learning Day for all Dare County Schools, due to current conditions and continued uncertainty with the forecast. Students should follow the expectations provided by their teachers for remote instruction.
Staff may choose to work remotely as their job allows, report on-site, or take leave.
We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will notify you of any changes regarding Friday’s schedule.
