Dare County Trash Schedule Revised for Next Week; County Offices Closed Monday for Veterans Day
All Dare County offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
The Dare County C&D Landfill, Manteo and Buxton Transfer Stations, the Manteo Recycle Yard and the Rodanthe Recycle Center will also be closed on Monday, November 11.
A revised trash collection schedule is in place for the week of November 11-15, 2019. The trash collection schedule for the week of November 11-15 will be as follows:
- Monday, November 11 – CLOSED, NO TRASH COLLECTION
- Tuesday, November 12 – Kitty Hawk, Colington, Frisco, Buxton, and Hatteras
- Wednesday, November 13 – Manteo, Wanchese, Manns Harbor, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon
- Thursday, November 14 – Kitty Hawk, Colington, Frisco, Buxton, and Hatteras
- Friday, November 15 – Manteo, Wanchese, Manns Harbor, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon
Commercial pick up of dumpsters will be Tuesday, November 12 and Friday, November 15.
