Myrna King Robke

AVON –Myrna KingRobke was born April 13, 1941 in Norfolk, Va., toJohnie L. King, Sr. and Lina W. King.  She was thegranddaughterof Mary “Mamie” Meekins. She married Harvey Robke in 1963 and traveledthe world as a Navy wife. Myrna settled back in Avon in 1975. 

Uponreturning toAvon, Myrna spent 20 years working in realestate.  She always loved to share her home with those in needduring the holidays.  She was an avid bingo player and adoredanimals.  Myrna considered her family to be her biggestaccomplishment in life.

Survivingare herchildren Lena, Kim and husband Rick; hergrandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie and Thomas; two great-grandchildren,Hunter and Alex, and her many pets.  She is preceded in deathbyher son, James Edward Hayes, Jr., and daughter Deborah Lynn Hayes.

Serviceswill be atSt. John’s United Methodist Church on Thursday,Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. with visitation at the church beginning at 1p.m.  All those who knew and loved Myrna are welcome to attend.
