AVON– Scott Alan Day, 47, died on Aug. 24, 2014. He was born in Kalamazoo,Mich., to Judith Ann Hays Day of Alden, Mich., and the late CharlesRichard Day. Mr. Day was a teacher at the Cape Hatteras SecondarySchool and a member of Our Lady of the Seas Catholic Church.
Alongwith his mother, Scott is survived by his wife, Kristin Day; adaughter, Courtney Day; two sons, Conner and Colby Day; one brother,Gordon Day of Rapid City, Mich.; two sisters, Lori Aubertin ofContoocook, N.H., and Darci Lewis of Kalkaska, Mich., and many niecesand nephews.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held onThursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Seas CatholicChurch with Father Fred Smuda, OSFS, officiating. A reception in thesocial hall will immediately follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers,donations can be made to Our Lady of the Seas Catholic Church, P.O.
