SOUTHERN SHORES — Ann Denise Williams of Southern Shores, NC and Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, after battling peritoneal cancer since early 2022. She was a 15-year survivor of triple-negative breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Williams; her mother, Rita Daniels; her sisters, Carol Daniels and Kathleen Daniels; and extended family members in Williamsburg, VA. Ann was preceded in death by her father, John Daniels, and sister, Mary Daniels.
Ann grew up in Annandale, VA. She was a 1976 graduate of W.T. Woodson High School. She graduated from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN in 1980 with a B.S. in Mathematics, and a 1989 graduate of the New York Institute of Technology, earning her MBA. After graduating from St. Mary’s College, Ann lived and worked in Northern Virginia until retiring in 2018.
Although her time at Westminster-Canterbury was brief, she enjoyed all the wonderful people she met and the fun activities.
At Ann’s request, she will be cremated, and there will be no service.
