Michelle Tomasula and Brian Farrell were married on Sunday, July 7, on the beach near Ramp 55 in Hatteras village.
Both the bride and bridegroom are from Vernon, N.J.
Matron of honor was Debbie Sweller, and best man was Tom Sweller, both of Hardyston, N.J.
Molly Miller of Barefoot Wedding officiated at the ceremony.
A reception followed at the Breakwater Restaurant in Hatteras village. After the reception, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Miss Hatteras with Capt. Spurgeon Stowe.
The bride said the couple chose Hatteras because it’s their favorite vacation destination. She has been visiting the island for 30-plus years, and they hope to live here one day.
