16 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Monday, bringing Dare County total to 331
Dare County announced 16 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Monday, July 27, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 331.
The 16 additional cases consist of 6 residents and 10 non-residents, and include the following:
1) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
2) resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
3) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
4) resident, 65 older, female, home isolation
5) resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
6) non-resident, 50 -64, female, transferred isolation
7) non-resident, 18-24, female, transferred isolation
8) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
9) non-resident, 18-24, male, transferred isolation
10) non-resident, 65 older, male, transferred isolation
11) non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
12) non-resident, 18-24, female, transferred isolation
13) non-resident, 25-40, male, transferred isolation
14) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
15) non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
16) resident, 65 older, male, home isolation
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Monday morning), at least 43 of 177 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 11 cases in Avon, 24 cases in Buxton, and 8 cases in Frisco.
