2 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday, bringing Dare County total to 315
Dare County announced 2 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Sunday, July 26, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 315.
The 2 additional cases are both residents, and include the following:
1) Resident, 59-65, male, home isolation
2) Resident, 50-64, female, hospitalized
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Sunday morning), at least 43 of 175 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 11 cases in Avon, 24 cases in Buxton, and 8 cases in Frisco.
New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
