7 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Friday, bringing Dare County total to 301
Dare County announced 7 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Friday, July 24, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 301.
The 7 additional cases consist of 5 residents and 2 non-residents, and include the following:
1) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
2) non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
3) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
4) resident, 25-49,female, home isolation
5) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
6) non-resident, 17 under, male, transferred isolation
7) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Friday morning), at least 39 of 165 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 9 cases in Avon, 23 cases in Buxton, and 7 cases in Frisco.
